Cebu IT Park is a 27 Hectare IT economic zone and modern trading hub. Home to over a hundred IT companies and related services, Cebu IT Park is host to over 70 percent of Cebu’s business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. The Park continues to develop with Manila Development Corporation (MDC) being contracted to construct a mixed use development.
FIMI as subcontractor to MDC has been contracted to the post tensioning work associated with about 50 beams of the development. Scope of works include lay out of duct profile, stressing works and final grouting of tendons. Included in the package is the supply of strands, ducts, and specialized equipment and expertise.
With the post tensioning of the beams comes dramatic reduction in the use of conventional reinforcing producing a more effective beam able to carry heavy loads at a more efficient economic approach.
Cebu IT Park commenced in June 2017 and is expected to be completed by end of 2017.
